++++ This lube was provided to me by Erotic Toy Town free of charge in exchange for an honest review and it is in compliance with the FTC guidelines.+++
Oh my, I have read the other reviews, and there is quite a bit of positive ones. When the wonderful people at Erotic Toy Town offered to send me a bottle, I grabbed it up so, I get to join the Maximus band wagon. I love it!
Maximus is safe to use with condoms, it is safe for male solo action with hands and toys. It works for vaginal and anal intercourse and it works with all of your toys. Since it is water based it will not harm any of your precious toys.
The Maximus blends well with my natural juices and it lasts for our lovemaking sessions. I didn’t need to add more or reactivate the lube. The most important thing about lube to me is that it is not sticky. I absolutely despise the oohey, gooey, sticky, gummy, and clumping action in my crotch. This one does not get sticky!! When I am through making love or playing with my toys, I do not feel like I have to run and shower. Actually, I just need to wipe off the excess and I am fine.
The Maximus seems to just go away, it does not leave a residue, it almost moisturizes the skin. It is thick and it does stay where you put it. It doesn’t have any scent to it and I did not get any tastes from the lube, it was maybe a little bit bitter but not much. I did a test on my sheets and it doesn’t stain your sheets or clothing.
The Ingredients include: Highly purified water, Propylene Glycol cellulose polymer, Di Sodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanal, Methyl Paraben, Butyl Paraben, Ethyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben.
The Parabens that are included in the lube make the Maximus bacteriostatic. They possess antibacterial and antifungal properties. This means that Maximus will not feed any bacteria, yeast or fungus. It will not carry these either. Maximus does not contain any glycerin which is a sugar that can cause urinary tract infections and yeast infections.
The parabens are used extensively as a water-soluble preservative in many foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and personal care items. According to the the National Institute of Health at www.toxnet.nlm.nih.gov “Use of parabens has become a consumer concern, there is little evidence to warrant the concern. Parabens are absorbed through the skin as well as the intestinal tract. It is then converted to para-hydroxybenzoic acid and is excreted through the urine.”
I would suggest this to both beginners and experienced toy users and I can finally stop buying and trying different types of lubes. If you start with this one you don’t need to keep searching.
This one definitely earns a 5 out of 5. Thank you Erotic Toy Town!
